SPORTS: ELAC Brings home the hardware

Six Elliot Lake swimmers attended the Jeno Tihanyi Long Course championship.
Combined they earned the Small Team Trophy by earning the most points for their respective sized club. There were plenty of individual top finishes too.

Emma Young finished atop the podium for each of her swims. Ava Young also proved she was on point over the weekend. Finishing in top spot for all her swims. Both girls harnessed the hardware, bringing home High Point trophies in their respective age group. Tremendous effort ladies.

Ethan Young helped the club toward their stellar weekend, improving on his persona best times and earning a qualifying spot for summer festivals in his 200m freestyle event.

Leiya Fortin also swam to personal best times alongside her teammates and earning key points for her efforts.

Avery Stirling consistently swam hard and earned podium finishes that helped boost the clubs recognition across the pool lanes.

Alyssa Hebert used the long course format to generate new times and personal bests.
