Some of the students at École secondaire catholique Franco-Ouest in Espanola have some formal certifications to add to their resumes.
Public Relations officer with the French-Catholic board, Brigitte Morin, says the students received specialized training yesterday in three areas of expertise: fork lifts, Nutrition 101 and maps, compass and GPS.
She adds it was a great opportunity for students to explore work they were not familiar with and to also gain some great hands-on experience.
