The Soo Thunderbirds defeated the Blind River Beavers 4-2 Saturday night and 6-3 Sunday night to win the first two games of the best of seven series for the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League West Division semifinal.
Game three goes tomorrow night in Blind River at 7:00pm.
