OPP in the north are out with an annual warning. They’re telling motorists to watch out for wildlife crossing highways as the days become longer. Police say drive a little slower in dim conditions so there’s more time to react to a moose or dear crossing the roadway. Another life-saver is getting your passengers to watch highway ditches for large animals. Also, if you see a bear or moose, stop your vehicle and make sure there isn’t a second one right behind it because they normally travel in groups.
