Students from Espanola High School, AB Ellis and Ecole Franco-Ouest have been sent to other schools to warm up.
Espanola High principal, Kristina Rivard-Gobbo, says sometime overnight the boilers went off, but the facilities are now up and running.
However, with the extreme cold weather, the school building is taking time to warm up and students have been sent to other schools to warm up.
All three schools are located in the Espanola High building.
They should be back in their own classrooms well before noon today.
