Thousands of dollars in unpaid fines have been written off by the Town of Espanola.
A motion to write off just over $192,000 going back 18 years to 2000 has been approved by the council.
The fines include trespassing and liquor offences.
They were sent to collection agencies, but have been deemed uncollectible.
