SNOWFALL WARNING IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA – Now Ended

Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

Associated with a developing low pressure system from the midwest plain states, intensified snow and local blowing snow will continue today. Easterly winds of 20 gusting to 40 km/h combined with the snowfall will create poor visibility and driving conditions for most of today.

Total snowfall amounts on the order of 15 to 25 cm are expected by this evening.

The snow will taper off tonight as a cold front moves through allowing for colder temperatures for the beginning of next week.
