The Espanola Express defeated the Elliot Lake Wildcats 3-1 in Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League action on Friday.
It was a triple loss weekend for the Blind River Beavers losing 5-2 to The Kirkland Lake Gold Miners Friday; 3-2 against the Powassan Voodoos Saturday and 3-2 against the French River Rapids on Sunday.
The French River Rapids also defeated the Elliot Lake Wildcats 8-3 on Saturday.
