A woman from South Africa has died while cycling through the Algoma District on Highway 17.
The 31-year-old was westbound on her bike Wednesday night going through Huron Shores when a vehicle hit her from behind.
The woman died at the scene.
The fatal collision took place just after 8:00pm.
The crash closed the highway until 5:30am Thursday.
The East Algoma OPP detachment is continuing to investigate the fatal collision.
