Lobsterfest 2018 is held every year in Espanola to assist various local causes.
Organizer, David Gallant, says this year’s event will go to help a local youngster battling cancer.
Gallant says the proceeds will help the family offset financial burdens while nine-year-old Blake Bond fights his battle with cancer.
Blake is undergoing chemo treatment in Ottawa, but is preparing to go to Toronto for a bone marrow transplant.
The event is set for Saturday, May 26th at the Espanola Curling Club and tickets are available at the Beer Store, Espanola Home Hardware and Garnets.
