Proposals for a new fire hall and the municipal budget will keep Espanola council busy today.
The new fire hall review will be held at 1:30pm.
Council will review design proposals to see which is the most feasible and affordable for Espanola while also meeting legal requirements for Emergency Preparedness and larger vehicles.
The municipal budget is the subject of discussion for the 2:00pm meeting.
Council received word on Friday for approval of the connecting link funding for $2.9 million for Centre Street, a factor Deputy Mayor Bill Foster had been waiting for to complete the budget.
The town was also waiting for both the Espanola Police Service and Espanola Public Library to come back with adjusted lower figures to finalize the document for 2018.
And, the thir d is corporate services at 3:00pm.
