Two more fundraisers are being held for an Espanola youngster’s family to help offset costs.
Nine-year-old Blake Bond of Espanola is in Ottawa and has nearly completed his chemo treatments for acute myeloid leukemia.
His mother, Kayli, told The Moose Blake’s doing well and they are now prepping for Toronto for his bone marrow transplant.
She will have to stay in a hotel during the stay because there is no available space at Ronald McDonald House, so the funding will help offset her living expenses.

To that end, the Beer Store is hosting a bottle drive on May 26th and will match any donations, so the public is encouraged to keep their bottles until the drive.
Proceeds from Lobsterfest 2018, also set for held May 26, will go to Team Blake.
