A full house is expected tonight for an Espanola boy and his family.
Nine-year-old Blake Bond is continuing his treatments for cancer in Ottawa with his mom there for support, but he will also be able to watch the Espanola Express and Espanola Eagles alumni players take on Team Blake in his honour tonight.
His aunt, Taryn Bond, his says the game will be privately live-streamed to Blake, andthe partners, including The Moose, is hoping to fill the arena to the rafters.
There will be a penny table,  and a special rendition of Oh Canada by Blake’s sister, Haileigh, and friends. The funds raised will go towards helping the family with costs not covered by any government program or plan.
Doors open at 6:00pm, the puck drops at 6:30pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 per child.
The livestream copy of the game will be released publicly on YouTube following the game.
