Elliot Lake council has been working closely with the Elliot Lake Residential Development Commission to sell prime property in the city, and another block is ready for market.
Commission chair, Bruce Lawrence, informed council this week that the five waterfront lots in Sugar Bush Heights on Dunlop Lake are ready to be sold.
Ranging from two to 5.2 acres, the minimum bid will start at $115,000.
The commission is overseeing the marketing on behalf of the city and it’s estimated the sale of the five lots could bring an estimated $556,000.
The lots are previous Crown land and the total development costs, including building the road and bringing in hydro, is approximately $480,000
