East Algoma and Manitoulin-Espanola OPP investigated a high number of motor vehicle incidents during the month of January.
East Algoma OPP responded to 33 motor vehicle collisions last month, three of which resulted in injuries while Manitoulin-Espanola officers responded to 42, four of which involved injuries.
Both detachments also laid two impaired driving charges each during the same time period.
There were no fatalities in either jurisdiction during the month of January.
