Alzheimer’s Walk big success

The 10th Annual Walk for Alzheimer’s held at Elliot Lake Secondary School was a tremendous success.

Out Reach Coordinator with the Alzheimer Society Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District, Tanya Cook, says the event held this past Saturday raised $8,844.
That’s $2,800 more than last year.

Thirty-four walkers took part with the funds staying in Elliot Lake, Blind River and the North Shore to assist local clients.
