Healthy Change Champion named by NE LHINS

Dr. Jennifer Jocko has been named a Healthy Change Champion by the North East Local Health Integration Network for her commitment to women’s health and patient-centred care.

Kate Fyfe, interim CEO of the North East LHIN says Dr. Jocko is a role model in improving patient-centred care and the NE LHIN is so pleased to recognize her for her work.

A registered nurse for 10 years, Dr. Jocko went on to medical school to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology and in 2014, joined the team at Health Sciences North.

Her work also includes regional work including a monthly rural outreach clinic on Manitoulin Island.

She and her business partner are also working to improve access to fertility services for women in the Northeast and plan to open a Northeastern Ontario Women’s Health Network Clinic in Sudbury by early 2018.
