More than 16 years ago a Spragge man is alleged to have threatened his wife, however no charges were ever laid. Over the years the couple divorced and just last month the same man threatened his now ex-wife. Police looked into the case and laid two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. The accused is also charged with cruelty to animals after the victim told police about incidents involving family pets from 1998 to 2000.
