A resident of the Serpent River First Nation is charged with two counts of aggravated assault after his parents were injured. The man went to his parents` home well after midnight last Saturday, confronted and assaulted his mom and dad and then left. Officers with the East Algoma OPP found the man a short time later. The parents were treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.
