The East Algoma OPP says traffic has started moving again in both directions on Highway 17. A collision just before noon on the Trans-Canada Highway near the Highway 108 turn off stopped or slowed down traffic for about 90 minutes. One eye witness told Moose News the collision involved a transport, a mini-van and pick-up truck.
The mini-van was extensively damaged as well as the pick-up truck however injuries are minor. Ambulance personnel transported the injured to the hospital. The cause of the collision is not known at this time.
