Manitowaning woman charged after collision in Thessalon

East Algoma OPP has charged a Manitowaning woman with careless driving after a collision in Thessalon.

Police say it happened on Highway 17 last Tuesday afternoon.

The 34-year-old had been driving, when her vehicle left the road and hit a telephone pole.

She was brought to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

She now faces charges for careless driving and driving without a licence.
